Sally Doyle-Linden

Partner, Chief Financial Officer

As one of the co-founders of Clearbell, with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, I am proud of how we have built the business into what it is today.  The thing I most like about working here is the people: we are a diverse group, but we have a shared commitment to delivering the highest standards while also supporting the people around us.

As a Partner and CFO I have specific responsibility for treasury, taxation, finance and reporting. I am the FCA Compliance Officer, the Money Laundering Reporting Officer and also a member of the Investment Committee. I have developed considerable technical and commercial expertise in all areas of treasury, taxation, finance and reporting. As well as in-depth knowledge of UK practices, I have broad experience of European and international markets.

From 2002 to 2007, I was Group Projects Director at Grosvenor Group Limited. At Grosvenor I was Finance Director of a listed entity in Luxembourg and provided financial consultancy and support to the international management teams. I also worked at Wates City of London Properties plc from 1987 to 2001, where I was responsible for all financial and treasury matters and raising in excess of £1 billion from banks, rights issues and joint venture partners. I played a key role in the £373 million takeover of Wates City in 2001 by Pillar Property plc.

I have been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 1985 and hold a BA (Hons) in Chemistry from Wadham College, Oxford University.

I enjoy being an active member of the British Property Federation Regulatory Committee and the Property Finance Forum steering committee. Discussing key topics and regulations with my peers is always insightful.

Time outside work I like to spend doing yoga, running, gardening, cooking and reading, but my passion is travelling. I am currently planning a trip to Patagonia. What my colleagues might not know about me? I am setting up my own apiary.
