Clearbell Property Partners II LP (Clearbell), a fund managed by Clearbell Capital LLP, today announces two new hospitality lettings as well as a new opening at its retail and leisure destination, The Riverwalk, Durham.

Estábulo, a Brazilian bar & grill using traditional gaucho cooking methods and locally sourced ingredients, has signed a new 15-year lease. As well as a variety of cuts of meat, the restaurant will also serve a selection of vegetarian, vegan and fish dishes.

Also joining The Riverwalk’s restaurant offering is Casa Peri Peri, specialising in flame-grilled chicken and short ribs, and with menus crafted and prepared by MasterChef’s Bobby Geetha. The operator has also signed a 15-year lease. Both tenants are due to commence fit out this summer and open in November.

The Riverwalk is a vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment destination in Durham. These lettings come as Caribbean restaurant Turtle Bay is due to commence its fit out this month, with a view to opening in October. The Riverwalk has seen a significant uplift in footfall since restrictions lifted, with more than 50,000 visitors per week.

In addition, Clearbell is continuing refurbishment works at The Riverwalk, including changes to car park 1 which is being redecorated and given new parking machines. The car park will reopen in July 2021.
